We went back to Retiro park to find a place to chill before checking out the Reina Sofia. There we saw works by Dali and Picasso. We got in just in time for the free admission, but were kicked out 45 minutes into it (cause the free admission was only for an hour), so we couldn't see the rest of the galleries. Nonetheless, it was pretty cool seeing Dali and Picasso's surrealism art. At night, we went to Lateral for Keny's birthday dinner, and thats where we ate the best tapas of our lives. The combinations of flavors were incredible mind-blowing, and my brain could not synthesize what was happening. I highly recommend anyone visiting Madrid to get the "Appetizer's Sampling" and the "Special Sampling" at Lateral. Worth every euro.

The architecture still amazes me.
At the Reina Sofia.
Surreal, sexual, and sublime.
The street art in Madrid is rather beautiful.
Along with the street lights at night.
Hands down, the best tapas I've had in my life!
Holy Toledo.
On the recommendation of Jamie's friend, Nina, we decided to take a day trip to Toledo, a small, walled castle town south of Madrid surrounded by a moat. It was the first time I've ever seen such a medieval place - high brick walls, swords, tourists, one way streets - in real life. Sure, we've all seen or read about the Adventures of Robin Hood, and envisioned the fabled Knights of the Round Table and Excalibur in our dreams, but actually walking through these narrow corridors, in between the shadows of light caught by the zigzag nature of it's design, I imagined myself wearing a suit of armor and my longsword unsheathed. It was a good day of exploration into Espana's past. Little did we know that we would be in for a surprise when we got back to Jamie's.
Game of Thrones.
Falchion, Scimitar, Broadsword, Longsword, Greatsword.
The Pope was in town for World Youth Day, though we missed him.
Having a drink to cool down.
They ran out of watermelon, and peach? so I opted for lime.
The sun is good.
Alright Gasol, I know the NBA's locked out right now, but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't be working on your game. Especially after how Dirk worked you in the playoffs last season.
I believe this might have been the Royal palace(?) Jamie can probably tell you what it is.
I love seeking light at night.
