Today the world is as globalized as it could be - - yet we struggle to find meaning in our daily existence.

Cali '11: 6. On the Road Pt. I

After an epic New Year's weekender in Palm Springs, I went on a 3 day Korean bus tour trip from Los Angeles to San Francisco and back with some of my relatives who were also visiting. I still find it quite odd that I went home for a visit. Although we stopped by a few random places on our way up to the Bay, it was surprisingly more fun than I had expected. More than anything I was able to hang out with my grandma, my uncle and aunts, and some of my baby cousins who've spent most of their entire lives in Korea. I mean, we've spent time together while we were in Korea, but now it was my turn to show them what being a Californian was all about. I hope they find California a more attractive place to live than Seoul. However, more than anything, I hope that my young cousins realize the importance of traveling and it's ability to broaden one's mind by experiencing the many different and unique cultures that inhabit this planet.

I hope you do too.

I wouldn't mind living here.

You've got the whole wide world in your hands.
